Welcome to Monday and the start of another week

Morning all,

I was recently commissioned to make fifteen Christmas cards in a relatively short space of time and figured batch making was the way to go, this turned out to be a small batch (as I didn't have much ribbon or green card!) but .......

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • Two white, C6/A2, 250gsm cards and matching sized envelopes
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit and one piece of green card, to mat (for each card)
  • Snippets of card in white and green, for the image panel
  • Impression Obsession "Zenspirations" tree stamped using Ranger Archival library green ink - I used a smaller tree from the same set, stamped in Memento tuxedo black, for the front of the envelope as I thought that stamping only half of the words on the front would look rather odd - rightly or wrongly!
  • Platinum stickles used on the star (for the card front) and gold Gansai Tambi starry water colour paints for the star elsewhere
  • Red tartan/plaid ribbon attached using double sided tape

I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
  1. CRAFT Challenges - November 16th challenge - CHRISTMAS
  2. Chrimbo Crackers - challenge No. 145 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  3. Craft Rocket - challenge No. 43 - CHRISTMAS IS COMING
  4. Simply Create Too - November 3rd challenge - CLEAN AND SIMPLE

This was another from a batch I was asked to make for the girlfriend of a friend, albeit this is a small batch (of just two) but here they are, side by side

And then, as a thank you for dinner whilst we were away recently ....

It's my Saturday post!

Morning

And, if you saw yesterday's post you will know that we recently returned from Florida and I have a few more photos to share.

We were there for Halloween ... so took a drive, there's one street near us that REALLY goes all out!

People visit from all over the place to see this Halloween display
Sophisticated light shows co-ordinated to music and all the neighbours get together
to do this, most spectacular
And now for some crafting ... I normally like to enter the Simply Less Is More challenge but their last one was "fireworks" and I really didn't have the images or the inspiration ... typical it was a two weeker too. Therefore, feeling I might enter this one more than once!!

My card
My CASE? I took my inspiration from the stamp manufacturer (MFT) and the elves bell
