It's Saturday and that can only mean one thing ....

Morning peeps,

It's Challenge Day! Well it IS normally but .... would you believe that I'm still full of cold? I had hoped that this was proving to be a mild cold and would be history by now .... not so. I'm now wondering if I was simply doing too good a job with the day and night nurse!?!?!? I say that because the Kleenex truck that was stalking me all week has really only been deployed in the last 24 hours and my previously skin coloured nose is now positively Rudolph like!! BOTHER!

This irritating cold has kept me from crafting this week and it's doing my head in. Normally, in a week, I would have made cards for several challenges and Saturday's mean three or four but ...... I'm afraid it's a pretty meagre fare to share with you. Not that I don't like the card I am about to share but more that there ought to be more than one!!!

Here's my CAS card with multiple trees!

And a closer view
And the co-ordinating inside and envelope
 Materials used:
  • C6 white, 300gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Embossing Art Co image stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Distress Inks: worn lipstick, seedless preserves, salty ocean, tumbled glass and iced spruce used watercolour style along with a twinkling H20 in gold (for the moon)
  • Kaisercraft sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival cobalt blue ink

I will be entering this card for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less is More - "More than one tree"
  2. Sister Act - "Anything Goes" (cards only)
  3. Polkadoodles - "Clean And Simple"
  4. MoxiefabWorld - "Treemendous"

It's the SECOND birthday of the fab challenge blog Addicted to CAS and they have launched their latest challenge - a sketch. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEEPS

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful Saturday and .... stay germ free!! Hopefully, normal service will resume (VERY SOON)!!!!

I'm still struggling to get better too, Kathy, so I know how you feel, and I haven't managed to make any cards for at least 3 weeks, in spite of having nice new dies and embossing folders. Love that little neat stamp which conveys so much.

This is gorgeous, I know CAS is supposed to be clean and simple but I genuinely think anything else on this would spoil it. Beautiful scene, I love both inside and out.
