Another lazy Sunday

Morning all,

How's the weekend coming along? It was pretty windy yesterday so my washing dried a treat - downside is that now I have a basket full of ironing!!! Ho hum.

Anyway, a couple of makes to share with you today ..... using two sets of stamps which really haven't seen much ink - about time they did though I now realise why they haven't, when I bought them they were my style but no longer quite so much. So glad I MADE myself use them though, don't want to turn in to a one trick pony!!!!

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 250gsm, card blank and matching sized envelope
  • 13½cm square white card panel
  • 14cm square black card panel
  • Lighthouse/beach scene stamped using Ranger Archival cobalt blue ink
  • Additional seagulls (from the other set) stamped using Ranger Archival watering can ink
  • Alcohol markers to colour

I'll be entering this for the following challenges:-
  1. Simply Less Is More - challenge No. 233 - LIFE'S A BEACH
  2. Fussy and Fancy - challenge No. 143 - BEACH FUN
  3. Speedy Mr Fox and Friends - challenge No. 271 - MAKE A BEACH SCENE

And an ATC using the same sets of stamps .....

Materials used:
  • Snippet of navy card for ATC blank
  • Snippet of white card for image panel
  • Inkadinkado image stamped using Versafine onyx black ink (it's blacker for the more solid typeface and image)
  • Inkadinkado seagulls stamped using Ranger Archival watering can ink
  • Alcohol markers used to colour the image and edge the ATC

Inkadinkado stamp sets ... L:Down by the seaside and R:Coastal

I'll be entering this ATC for the following challenges:-
  1. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - challenge No. 186 - SNIPPETS CHALLENGE
  2. That Craft Place - WORDS

Wow! I think they're lovely Kathy. Love your makes AND the two gorgeous sets of stamps. I do have a weakness for lighthouses. Good job you hung onto them. I think they're keepers.

Hello Kathy, First of all thank you so much for your visit and leaving a comment. I like the ATC very much and the card is lovely. I have the set on the left and have only used them once. I don't know why as it's a lovely set. I've looked at your blog regularly for some time now so I'm very glad to be your new follower. Barbxx

What a fabulous card and ATC kathy, and a stunning CAS design. I'm sure we were shopping together in Michaels and both bought the set on the left, I like the set a lot although haven't used mine much recently.

Well done on taming the laundry, I know I'll have that lovely task when I return home in a few days ;0(

Fabulous creations Kathy - love the lighthouse scene. Isn't it strange how we buy crafty things, pop them in a drawer and never use them! I do that a lot!!

I saw this at the Playground and came for a closer look, Kathy! Your nautical card and ATC are both so fantastic and really showcase how great these stamps are! I particular love that ATC. It reminds me of all the vacations we took to the beach when our son was a lad like that. I'm loving how you put the design across the boy like that! I'm guessing you used a mask and white embossing powder? You always do that extra little touch that elevate your designs! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
