Welcome to challenge Saturday peeps

Hi there,

How's your weekend going? Cold enough for you? Weather forecasters predicting snow in the UK in places so, if you are in one of those places, then please take care.

I have to be honest, Mr Mojo's been hiding in a corner since our return home to this cold and positively DANK weather but I came across a sketch yesterday which just called my name.

And now I'd like to share it with you ...

Materials used:
  • White 5" x 7", 300gsm, scallop edged card blank and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to 11 x 16cm + snippet for image panel
  • Two pieces of red card cut to 11.6 x 16.6cm + snippet for layering
  • Black card snippet for layering
  • Posh Impressions heart image stamped on to snippet of white card using Versamark ink and then heat embossed using red tinsel EP, elsewhere stamped using Adirondack red pepper ink before die cutting to a circle and then matting on to a slightly larger die cut circle and scallop edged circle
  • Snippet of red card cut to form the diagonal panel on the card front 
  • Faber Castell "S" Pitt pen used to draw two lines to edge the coloured panel
  • Papermania sentiment stamped using Memento tuxedo black (an additional Kaisercraft sentiment stamped on the insert)

  6. Friday Mash Up - challenge No.235 - SKETCH and/or THANKFUL THEME - I went with just the sketch


And then, after a crafting drought of a few days ..... cards are like buses ... so, here's another one!

Materials used:
  • 15cm square white, 250gsm, card blank and matching sized envelope
  • 13½cm square of white card - cut two
  • 14cm square black card - cut two
  • Distress Ink in hickory smoke sponged randomly in the corner and then tea dye through a memory box square stencil
  • Kaisercraft image stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Stamplorations sentiment builder sentiment stamped Ranger Archival inks in jet black and sepia
  • Paper Artsy splatter image stamped using Ranger Archival sepia ink
  • Ranger Distress Glaze applied with a finger, to set the distress inks
