Lazy Easter Sunday morning ....

Morning,

Having recently re-discovered some elderly stash ... I decided to strike (again) whilst the iron was hot ...... and do more with these fab Kokopelli and Christmas images and made the three projects below.

My card
The front and back of my card and front of my envelope
The inside of my card and reverse of my envelope
Materials used:
  • 12cm square white, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card, cut to 10½cm square
  • One piece of red card, cut to mat leaving a 3.6mm border
  • Snippets of card in white, black and red ... with the black cut to leave a 1.6mm border and the red to a 3.6mm border
  • Recollections candy cane image stamped using Versafine satin red ink
  • Piece of red satin ribbon with "Ho Ho Ho" repeated on it attached using double sided tape and my image panel attached over the ribbon using dimensional foam tape
  • Paper Artsy sentiment stamped using Ranger Archival jet black ink
  • Stardust stickles and Plaid dimensional gloss added once the card was assembled

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:
  1. Craftbubble 2½ (membership required) - March/April RD challenge - CANDY CANES
  2. Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge EXTRA - April challenge - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES
  3. Winter Wonderland - April 14th challenge - CUTE CHRISTMAS
  4. Sweet Stampin' Christmas - April challenge - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES
  5. Season Greetings - challenge No. 5 - ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES + OPTIONAL COLOUR TWIST - see below

And for my next "old stash" project ....

Materials used:
  • White ATC blank
  • Snippet of black card - cut to ATC size
  • Snippet of white card, taped down and coloured (omre style) using Distress Inks: tumbled glass, weathered wood and faded jeans, applied with a Tim Holtz mini blending tool and foam pad
  • Kaisercraft mini dots and border stamped using Memento London fog ink
  • Judikins kokopelli image and Stamplorations sentiment stamped using Versafine onyx black ink . . . once dry, I gave the image panel a quick squirt with Crafters Companioni spray and shine to protect the water based inks
  • Using my recent acquisition of a Murano glass dip pen and some pearl acrylic ink I doodled a border on the black matting layer

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Pixie's Crafty Workshop - challenge No.'s 277 and 278 - USE SNIPPETS

Additionally, my kokopelli embellished my envelope too

The ATC is centrally placed over the address, for privacy

I love the candy cane image you have used here Kathy and the red and white with a touch of black works well, and the Kokopelli image is really fun and looks great on this ATC. x
